Located within our Stapylton precinct, ARRC Recycling will have as its centrepiece a new state-of-the-art materials recovery facility – responsible for sorting the contents of your yellow bin into different waste streams that can be turned into valuable recycled materials.
To advance the development of our Stapylton facility, ARRC has announced a partnership with Australia’s Visy Recycling (and the City of Gold Coast) to design a modern, efficient and commercially sustainable recycling system that supports local remanufacturing, improves the recovery of recyclables, and strengthens Australia’s domestic recycling capability. The ARRC Recycling facility replaces an existing recycling facility at Carrara, which is nearing the end of its operational lifecycle.
It marks a major milestone in ARRC’s vision to become Australia’s leading circular economy hub, keeping more recyclable material in productive use and reducing the use of landfill across the region.
